Since 1977, the most powerful men from around the world come together to compete for the title. World's Strongest Man is more than a mere gameshow, it's a proper sporting event held around the end of September each year. Thirty or so enormous blokes from around the world lift rocks, pull trains, hold up vans full of gold bricks, and such-the-like.
As these strongmen rocked Chengdu China last year, 2006 the beautiful Sanya, a tropical seashore city of China is the destination for competing in events that tested the limits of human strength and endurance!
Announced on the Press conference held on April 18, 2006, Yalong Bay Mangrove Tree Resort is the exclusive hotel of the Sanya 2006 World’s Strongest Man Competition, more than 25 athletes from US, UK, Canada, Poland, China, etc. will stay here as well as a place of 2 competing events.
