ON 13th NOVEMBER 2005, the Resort’s General Manager, Mr. Lu Desheng welcomed Mrs. Julia Morley, the chairman of Miss World Organization, and all the contestants of the 55th Miss World Final when arrived for the first Media Welcome Dinner at the Resort.
The contestants were ecstatic about the Resort and many of them wrote down their impressions. These are now part of a cherished collection of memorabilia of this inaugural media dinner.
All the contestants dressed in their breathtaking gowns attended the dinner. They were thrilled to witness a performance of traditional Hainan entertainment, including the renowned bamboo dance.
